The New York Auto Show, one of the biggest international auto extravaganza, this year marks the entry of some of the classy and top range models to be premiered in 2011. Few electrifying names include, all-new 2011 Kia Sportage, 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport, Cadillac CTS-V Sport Wagon, 2011 Chevrolet Cruze, 2011 Hyundai Sonata, 2011 Infiniti QX56, and the 2011 Mercedes-Benz R-class. 
With added features, the Kia Sportage model almost took the show. After making a successful debut at Geneva, this ultra model has now been introduced to the US market with two engine option is all set to rule the roads.
The auto show in Paris has witnessed several show cars and concepts over the years and this year this annual feature might as well register itself in the history books as the unofficial beginning to the age of modern electric vehicles. Automakers across the globe are set to showcase their production versions of electric vehicles this year. 
After three years in oblivion, Porsche has finally decided to return to Detroit Auto Show next year. Porsche had shocked the organizers as well as the fans three years ago when it decided to withdraw from this event. But after the economic condition started improving it is finally staging a comeback at the show with the latest models. 
Mercedes cars have always managed to draw a lot of attention and with attention came rumors and if rumors were to be true it wouldn’t be long before we get to see the much awaited 2-door model from Mercedes. The latest report in the AutoCar magazine has said that Mercedes C-Class Coupe will very soon be launched and is expected to debut at the Auto show in Detroit in January next year. 
Chevrolet recently released the details of the latest Spark Woody, which is Chevy’s art car set to be showcased at the Auto Show in Paris later this year. The details include specifics regarding the car as well a number of images. 
The Paris Auto Show, 2010 will see the unveiling of the DeZir concept coupe by Renault. It is a two-seater concept model and has gull wing doors which open in the opposite directions. This electric car will also be Renault’s new design head’s first product. The color scheme will be red and white. 
The much awaited Mini Countryman from BMW was on display at the Motorexpo in Canary Wharf, London. The Motorexpo, which has witnessed the launch of many fantastic cars by a variety of car manufacturers, once again had the opportunity to showcase one the finest cars from BMW. A true crossover, the Countryman comes with a choice of five engines, two diesel and three petrol engines with power ranging between 89bhp and 181bhp for the different versions.
