Nissan Qashqai features new Diesel Engine

Yes, this popular Japanese crossover is pleased to introduce the new 1.6 liter turbodiesel engine with 130hp and 320Nm of torque at 1,750rpm that will consume only 4.9 liters every 100 kms.

Another thing worth mentioning about the Nissan Qashqai 1.6 liter versions and Qashqai +2 will benefit from a six speed CVT re-configured transmission. Moreover, a Pure Drivename is offered to all the cars in this new range that is not emitting more than 130g of CO2 per kilometer.

The Nissan Leaf grabbed the Green Car Vision award ahead of some wonderful cars like the Coda Automative’s sedan, the F-cell, the Ford Focus BEV and the Toyota Prius at the Washington Auto Show this year. A nominee for the award can be an exclusively new model or a revised version of an existing model. The press conference held after the award showed that there have been 38,000 people who have given their pre-orders.

Nissan all set to display its electric car at Tokyo Motor Show

The Japanese automaker giant Nissan is all set to unveil its new concept vehicle at the Tokyo Motor Show, which starts October 23. Known as the “Land Glider”, the vehicle is a light weight electric car which has a narrow body. The car would be set at the designer centre of the company for a preview before the motor show. The unique thing about this concept car is that it can lean its body just like a motorcycle to shift the centre of gravity.
