A true crossover, the Countryman comes with a choice of five engines, two diesel and three petrol engines with power ranging between 89bhp and 181bhp for the different versions.

The cancellation of the British Motor Show this year has created a void and Goodwood therefore has confirmed that a new motor show called the Moving Motor Show would be held this year. The event would give the buyers of new cars an opportunity to use the Goodwood estate to test drive cars. The Motor Show will precede the Festival of Speed which was founded by Lord March in 1993. According to him the Moving Motor Show would be an integral part of the Festival.
The Geneva Auto Show turned out to be a delight for the hybrid car lovers. The illustrious Auto Show saw many automobile giants displaying their newest hybrids. The introduction of these hybrids together with several other announcements has forced one to think whether hybrids have now become the new powerhouse of the automobile industry.

The organizers of the Dubai Motor Show have confirmed that the prestigious show that would be held from 16th to the 20th of December will feature 13 exclusive global car launches, a record in itself. The Tokyo Motor Show that officially begun from October 24 is making the headlines with some of the major automakers making a few announcements and unveiling at the largest auto event of the East. Carmakers like Suzuki, Honda and Mitsubishi have shown what is in store from them already. Suzuki has three concept cars lined up which include the Alto which is a mini, a hybrid of the Swift and the latest version of the SX4-FCV, which was launched in 2008. The Swift has a battery range of 12 miles and gets its power from the 660cc engine. The SX4-FCV has the 80kW GM fuel cell stack which would soon hit the production factory.
