Featuring a sporty design, MINI Cooper Coupe comes in a two tone color except for the special version Midnight Black that has been sold since commercial launch with its glossy black body finishing and matt black roof. With its 15inch alloy wheels, MINI Cooper Coupe comes with a 16” on SD and Cooper S and 17” on the sporty version. This new sporty car comes with engines like a 1.6 petrol 211hp engine for the Twin Scroll Cooper Works version and 1.6 petrol by 184hp for the Cooper S. There is also a 2 liter diesel engine version of this car.

The are many interesting features of the Mini Rocketman Concept that reminds us of the 1959 version of the Mini by Alec Issigonis. However, there are many other aspects that are unique like the length of Rocketman, which is more than the old Mini Minor by 37 cm. And the Rocketman Concept is 1,907 m wide and 1,398 m in tall than the old version.

The Mini Rocketman Concept is created on the lines of spaceframe carbon architecture.  It is designed in a way so as to keep less weight and to give an average of 3 liters of fuel per 100 km.

The Mini Rocketman Concept car created some amazing innovative technique in case of the doors of the car, which is interesting.

The Mini Rocketman has a carbon fiber part that spins on the front wheel arch. This part separates the body in parallel direction and also improves ease of access in confined spaces.  

The car also has a transparent roof made with optical fibers and nice and glossy interiors. Amongst others, the Mini Rocketman Concept is equipped with a connection to the Internet.

With similar appearances, the various Mini models look quite comparable. That is why the company has worked on giving the new Paceman Concept a little different look for the upcoming show.

With features that are similar to the latest Mini Cooper model, the Paceman Concept car is quite large and mounted. Moreover, it is based on the Countryman, another new model from the same company.

Other specifications, as far as the concept design of the Paceman is concerned, includes leather cover on the outside door handles as well as on the cover of the gas cap. On the other hand, for the interior design, Mini uses the same features as used in the Countryman car.

Additionally, Paceman also has the rear bucket seats. Even the all-wheel-drive system of the Paceman concept is alike with the Countryman car. As per this feature, the wheel drive is biased towards front wheels but strong enough to put all the power to the rears. The engine of the Paceman Concept car is a 1.6-liter turbocharged based on the John Cooper Works. It has four-cylinder that produces as much as 211 horsepower.

January 10 and 11, 2011 are the two preview days for the 2011 Detroit auto show, whereas public days goes till January 23.

The latest Mini Countryman from BMW is almost 3 ft longer than the previous one and it is also the tallest model in the entire series. The interior has been designed in a way to make it more spacious. Besides, if we compare it with the previous versions, it is much improved. It has 4 individual seats and the back seats can be folded flat, which gives even more space.  It also has the option of a high end audio, navigation systems and the best of all a panoramic roof. Among other features, the most prominent one is the fuel saving options, which include brake energy recuperation, gear change indicator and a start/stop system.

The Countryman manages to carry the legacy of BMW’s Mini in terms of style and quality. Its features definitely will give a great driving experience, not to mention the comfort and strength that is characteristic of BMW. By the initial looks it seems to be a great addition and the enthusiasm amongst the car lovers in the expo also augured well for it. The Mini Countryman starts at a price of £17,000.

BMW branded Mini John Cooper Works stole the centre stage of the British Motor Show 2008. The red coloured Mini looked absolutely sexy and striking at the show. This was the first time when it was showcased in UK.

With an amended engine of 130bhp per litre output, improvised pistons and exhaust the Mini John Cooper Works is a great deal. The framework is improvised with an electronic differential lock.
