The car was installed at the Geneva Motor Show 2011.

The model was earlier expected to be introduced in the 2010 Geneva Auto Show, however was cancelled for some reason. Since it is the first such model from the Italian manufacturers, so the excitement and speculations were quite too high. This is for the first time that Ferrari got an all-wheel drive and four seats and it might work a little on improving Ferrari’s sales.

Ferrari FF model is also being compared with other car models like the German SUV Porsche Cayenne. Models like this one will be a normal feature in the coming time so that the big auto manufacturers could also focus on the niche markets to get a bigger share of the market revenue.

Ferrari FF is sure to have a market and a line of admirers, who have been waiting for so long for this model from the house of Ferrari. So, the wait is over now and Ferrari FF is all set to hit the roads.

Although the news may bring a huge surprise to many faces, it is indeed true that Ferrari is going to showcase its first official hybrid product at the upcoming Geneva Auto Show which will kick start in March this year. The decision of the company to finally take on the hybrid turf has not affected the image of the company in any way. The hybrid that would be put on the display will be a 599 GTB Fiorano.

The car with a rear mount motor that runs on electricity will have a lithium-ion based battery source and is also intended to have a KERS energy recovery system version. The hybrid is expected to run 14 miles per gallon which is far more than the 9 mpg of the gasoline powered version.

The hybrid would have the popular V12 engine of Ferrari and the KERS set up would make it possible to charge the batteries from the energy that is captured from breaking. The hybrid would also consume less gasoline as its engine would shut down when the vehicle is not in motion.

The newly evolved electronics of the car ensure faster response to the commands of the driver and the F1 gearbox shifts are even more prompt in high performance settings. The exterior and the interior which have been made with carbon-fiber make the car look very sporty.

The 20 inch wheels with a diamond cut and special silver finish look really stunning and the cabin of the car also has a sophisticated look. There were speculations about a hybrid from Ferrari last summer but this looks very much official!

One of the leading automakers of the world, Ferrari is presently working on a new addition to its long list of exclusive and envious cars. It is a GTO version of the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano. This will be the very first Ferrari in nearly three decades to get the GTO badge. According to a reputed auto magazine of U.K., the 599 has switched to a Sports car division from being a GT and this has made sure that development work could start on the Ferrari 599 GTO.

There were speculations that an improved version of the 599 GTB Fiorano would be unveiled at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. The 599 GTO pays homage to the 250 GTO of 1960s which was considered to be quite a legend. Amedeo Felisa who is the CEO of Ferrari unveiled some specs of the upcoming model from the Prancing Horse’s stable while he was interviewed by the EVO. He said that the 599 GT was more like a road going version of Ferrari 599XX. However, the car has superior dynamics if you compare it with the 599 HGTE.

The Enzo-derived V12 engine with a capacity of 6.0 L would provide all the power and with the rev-limit increased it allows a total of 700 HP. The car also manages 0-60 mph in just about 3.2 seconds and can notch up a top speed of 217mph. With a speed in this range, the 599 GTO is all set to be the fastest road car ever from Ferrari.
