Mitsubishi Motors, the world’s leading car manufacturers have extended the concept of one notch below by launching a smaller but sportier car the ASX compact crossover. It is another in the line of global cars for regions and hence has been named and specified to match it. It was incepted in Japan this February and is expected to hit the European after the premiere in this year’s Geneva Motor Show. So, by the end of this spring it will hit the European roads.

The Nissan Leaf grabbed the Green Car Vision award ahead of some wonderful cars like the Coda Automative’s sedan, the F-cell, the Ford Focus BEV and the Toyota Prius at the Washington Auto Show this year. A nominee for the award can be an exclusively new model or a revised version of an existing model. The press conference held after the award showed that there have been 38,000 people who have given their pre-orders.

Dubai Motor Show set to unveil a record 13 exclusive global car launches

The organizers of the Dubai Motor Show have confirmed that the prestigious show that would be held from 16th to the 20th of December will feature 13 exclusive global car launches, a record in itself. Apart from this, the show which will take place at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center will also have 40 regional premiers. There will be a great number of models that would make their worldwide debut; among these are the new Mercedes G-Class Edition’79, the Kepler Motors Motion and the Renault GCC Fluence.

Nissan all set to display its electric car at Tokyo Motor Show

The Japanese automaker giant Nissan is all set to unveil its new concept vehicle at the Tokyo Motor Show, which starts October 23. Known as the “Land Glider”, the vehicle is a light weight electric car which has a narrow body. The car would be set at the designer centre of the company for a preview before the motor show. The unique thing about this concept car is that it can lean its body just like a motorcycle to shift the centre of gravity.

The amount spent by Toyota on its team is more than any other team. Now, to boost the performance of its team, Toyota has invested in its new concept car called Toyota TF108.

With features and shape different from its 2007 predecessor, Toyota TF108 Concept Car sports a narrow nose appealing design. Toyota in fact developed an upper wing profile to blend into the nose of this concept car but the idea was abandoned and instead went with a new design spanning the entire length over the nose, something similar to that on the McLaren Mercedes.
