BMW, the world’s leading car manufacturer is all set to create a new chapter in the Sports Activity Vehicle space, which in itself is a first of its kind. It was originally launched in late 1999 as the 2000 model and the BMW X5 totally changed the dynamics of the automotive industry.

The 2011 model is slated to be launched later this year and everyone is eagerly waiting for this revolutionary vehicle. The BMW X5 has made a significant breakthrough by proving that the driving dynamics, linear control and responsiveness typical of any BMW could be made compatible with versatility, utility and all other road capabilities.

The BMW ActivE has four full size seats and the capacity of the luggage compartment is 200 litres /7 cu ft. The motor located in the rear allows the vehicle to reach 100km/h from zero in less than 9 seconds. Users can activate the electric vacuum pump fitted in the brake system whenever they wish to and only the rear wheels of the car get affected by this brake. The concept is an attempt to make the experience of driving pleasurable without any emission of CO2 in the environment.

With a range of beautiful new models intended to showcase its commitment to sustainable mobility, BMW is all set for the 2009 Dubai International Motor Show which is expected to be held between 15th and 20th of December this year. BMW is planning to unveil as many as 12 new models at the upcoming show. The models include the new BMW 760Li Individual Edition, BMW Gran Turismo, X5M, X1 and X5 10th year anniversary edition.

BMW’s commitment to sustainable mobility will be demonstrated by Models like BMW Active Hybrid 7 and Active Hybrid X6. The phase one of the Efficient Dynamics strategy of the company has already seen over 1.5 million vehicles being fitted with Efficient Dynamics technologies. The paths to zero-emission cars have been very rosy for the company and they have been able to achieve a lot of success. The launch of BMW Active Hybrid and X6 models would mean that the phase two of the Efficient Dynamics strategy has been activated. These two vehicles would also integrate to reduce fuel consumption and emissions.

The attendees would be informed about the strategy by a BMW Active Hybrid expert who has been called upon from Munich. The Joy marketing campaign launched by the company would be pivotal to the company’s communications at the Show. Phil Horton who is the MD of the BMW group in the Middle East said that the Show would be used as an opportunity by the company to showcase the new models and advances that BMW has made in design and sustainable mobility.

The BMW 5 Series GT is a beautifully designed car. It has a long bonnet and the side lights which are mandatory for US are built in the head light units. The GT has frameless door windows which run all the way down to the rear, though the quarter windows have no option but to remain close. The L-shaped LED lights at the rear let everybody know that it is a BMW.

The GT has a sturdy construction in spite of the rear being made of aluminium. The big hatch has a remote opening and you can open the lower part of the gate separately by your hand. The BMW 5 Series includes the 535i and the 550i versions. The latter would be the first model to reach the American market while the former would be available by spring. The 550i has a V8 with 407 hp while the 535i uses a 3L I-6 with 306hp. Both models have a low level of interior noise and the only noise that you are likely to hear comes from the frameless side windows. The 5 series gives you a comfortable feel both as a driver and passenger. The 5 Series surely promises a great deal in terms of space and flexibility.

The new BMW 2010 5 Series Gran Turismo comes with a sufficient legroom along with a 15.5 cu ft trunk space. With a short and sedan-like lid it covers a standard trunk that can be separated from the rest of the car cabin with a movable partition. The rear side of this car can open in two ways, including, the lid and the rear glass.

BMW 2010 5 Series Gran Turismo comes fitted with comfortable seats for three people at the rear side that can be split in 40 – 20 – 40 position. The front seats of this BMW model comes with 10-way power adjustments including, sit higher and restraint height.
