Chevrolet announced one of its storied monikers in the illustrious racing heritage of Corvette- the Grand Sport at the Corvette Birthday Bash in Kentucky.
The Grand Sport is styled with a wide body and has a racetrack like suspension which makes it a distinctive performer. It would be available in both convertible and coupe body styles and in both manual and automatic transmission. The engine capacity is 6.2 L and with the exhaust system meeting the standards, it is at 430 horsepower which can be elevated to 436 horsepower rating by a two-mode exhaust system which is optional.
The wheels of the new Corvette are very wide. Interestingly, it offers enhanced handling performance as compared to the previous version of the Corvette-the Z51.
