Mitsubishi planned a major release with as many as 16 cars in their coveted list. Ten out of those models are set to qualify for eco-car tax incentives at Japan. The PX-MiEV hybrid and the i-MiEV Cargo are the models worth mentioning when you talk about the concept car of the company. The latter is an extended version of the former and has a very spacious cargo and would possibly be delivered in smaller fleets.

Honda is also planning to make a mark on the show and use the platform to reveal its three brand new concepts. The highly innovative CR-Z prototype, an electric mini called the EV-N and a six seater hybrid known as the Skydeck are the ones that would bear the Honda flag at the Tokyo Motor Show.

The much awaited Vietnam Motor Show 2009 is set to take place from 19th to the 23rd coming November. The biggest automobile exhibition of the year has been announced by the Organization Committee to take place at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center. The chassis of the car is built from light weight aluminum and has performance enhancing electronic aids.

Among the many automakers that would showcase their exciting machines in the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show from around the world, Mazda has decided to celebrate the 20th Birthday of MX-5 with the unveiling of the MX-5 superlight. The car has been designed in Oberusel ,Germany at Mazda’s European studios. The car which is rumoured to be a concept does not have door handles, front windscreen and the folding roof which were present in the MX-5. The rear deck of the car has been revised and the bodywork ahs been given a complete new look. There have also been modifications made in terms of its weight and handling ability.

Peugeot is also eyeing the upcoming show to launch their Hybrid4 powertrain. The car which operates on diesel and electricity will be first of its kind. It has been produced keeping in mind the common acceptance of diesel as fuel in Europe. The front wheels of the car would be powered by the diesel engine and the electric motor would power the rear wheels. The CO2 emission of the car is expected to be as low as 99g/km. it is expected to hit the European market in 2011.

The 2011 SLS AMG by Mercedes Benz is apparently going to be the highlight of the Frankfurt Motor Show. The car has a 6.2l V8 engine and is expected to notch up a speed of 0-100km/h in just 3.8 seconds. The car would be built with a fabric top and is expected to be produced in limited number.

The 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show which is expected to run from the 17th to the 27th of September will have many automakers exhibiting their new models.

Among the cars which are expected to be unveiled at the show, the Lexus Premium Compact needs a special mention. The car has a high belt line and low-slung roof. The style also seems sharp and aggressive. The car is expected to have a 6.0liter V12 engine and power of 350 kW. The Rapide is the first four door coup produced by Aston Martin after Lagonda made an exit in 1989 and orders are coming thick and fast for this car.

Ford Ranger 2009 claims to be the most fuel efficient, affordable and flexible truck till date. With its 2-3 litre engine, it has the capacity to produce 143 horsepower, torque of 154 pound-feet and offers the highest fuel economy.

Ford Ranger 2009 comes in four series- XL, XLT, Sport and FX4. All the four series boast excellent designs and equipments. Wheels of XL are very standard and stylish.
