The latest Range Rover 2011 is all set to make its debut at this year’s Paris Motor Show. It maintains its leadership position in the luxury vehicles space. The wonderful mix of limited CO2 emission and enhanced engine performance has created an industry benchmark. With the launch of the super diesel version, it will deliver almost 30mpg, which again is a first in the auto industry.
It features a V8 diesel engine and an 8 speed transmission. Other prominent features are the upgrades in Terrain Response and a fine styling in the exterior that helps it retain its leadership in the SUV segment.
Although it is a very powerful machine it is amazing that it consumes very little fuel and the carbon emission is negligible. Its 4.4 liter engine provides very efficient functioning in any condition. The pickup is also very impressive, reaching 60 mph in a meager 5.9 seconds.
The features include, up gradation of the terrain Response system by the addition of Gradient Acceleration Control and Hill Start Assist. The interior has also been given a lot of modifications. The transmission control has been enhanced and so has been the entertainment system. Other very significant change is the addition of Jupiter grilles and also the side vents in the diesel models. This car is definitely a very strong and yet very sophisticated vehicle.
