VMShow

The much awaited Vietnam Motor Show 2009 is set to take place from 19th to the 23rd coming November. The biggest automobile exhibition of the year has been announced by the Organization Committee to take place at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center. The Vietnam Motor Show is the fifth of its kind, which has been organized by Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers’ Association.

The optimism of the organizers in the event was further enhanced by the dates that were towards the end of the year and also by the signs of the economic recovery. The good show in the Vietnamese Automobile market and the increasing demand for small cars which have been domestically assembled are good signs for the upcoming show. Another lively exhibition on a large scale is being planned by the VAMA which is an organization of the reputed automakers in Vietnam. It aims at reflecting the recent trends and developments of the Vietnam Automobile industry.

The Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center located at the Ho Chi Minh City is just the perfect venue for the upcoming show. Its brilliant facility and standards which match the very best in the world are ideal to host such a major show. The organizers are expecting a huge response from the people and are hoping that there would be no shortage of visitors during its five open days. The total display area of the Motor show is expected to be 15,000 square meters with over 50 suppliers planning to make it to the show.

The Hyundai Santa Fe blue Hybrid is a good contender in the eco-friendly market. I like the openness provided by the 3 panel glass roof, and the fuel efficiency. It will make a great family vehicle if it goes into production.
