In recent years, Rolls-Royce has come up with a myriad of new models and the recent addition to the list of the Phantom lineup is the 200EX. This car would have a V12 engine with 575 lb-ft torque. The 563 hp engine has a capacity f 6.6L and would ensure a stunning performance with speed touching 155mph. However, the ZF-built 8-speed auto transmission is shared with BMW and not unique to Rolls –Royce. Helmut Riedl, who is the Director of Engineering at Rolls Royce, informed that the car had been engineered for graceful composure and advanced power delivery which would ensure a wonderful driving experience.
The Rolls-Royce 200EX gives you a fingertip control and the chassis set up protects us the passengers by keeping the car steady and smooth. The 200EX has been fabulously designed with a light weight and there is a reduction in the noises made by the tires, exhaust and the engine to the extent possible.
The 200EX is not an exceptional car but rather a car with careful blend of great features. It has grace and agility and gives an outright performance. Tom Purves, the CEO of the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, firmly believes that the engineering team has done an excellent job in styling this car.
The production of the latest model is expected to start in Goodwood later this year and would have the same quality of paint and would have the same wood and leatherwork which you get in the Phantom series. So, you can be rest assured whether or not this car would live up to the high standard set by the Rolls-Royce.
