The 2010 North American International Auto Show that kicks off on January 11 is expected to be an exciting show. The show is expected to be the platform for the debut of over 40 vehicles. The Auto Show which is going to be held in Cobo Center has the workers working overtime to finish giving the final touches. The Th!nk City electric vehicle, BMW Active concept, the Chevrolet Orlando MPV concept the Buick Regal GS concept are some of the concept cars that are expected to be revealed at the show.
New production models like the 2011 Hyundai Sonata, the 201 Honda CR-Z, the 2010 Aston Martin Rapide, the 2011 Chevrolet Camaro convertible, the 2010 Honda Accord Crosstour and the Chevrolet Spark would also be on the display at the NAIAS. The Executive Director of NAIAS, Rod Alberts seemed very optimistic about the show which he feels is definitely going to be a big hit among the auto lovers with cars like Electric Avenue, X-Prize and EcoXperience set to make an appearance at the show.
The unveilings of the cars would be done LIVE during the press days which would be streamed on your computers similar to the way it was done last year. Vehicles that run on electricity, solar power and hydrogen would be the highlight of the show. The show is also going to have an electric avenue display area that would have battery-run vehicles. The show this year would also include the MGM Grand Casino-Hotel and would have a private setting called “The Gallery” to display luxury vehicles.
