The latest from the Lexus marquee is the all new and stunning sports car Lexus LFA. It came as a surprise to many when Lexus unveiled this fantastic sports car at an Auto Show in Detroit. Lexus primarily know for making luxury cars has forayed into the sports car section and it created a big buzz amongst car lovers across the globe. One must confess that for a company who doesn’t specialize in this space, Lexus has manufactured one of the best sports cars ever. Lexus has definitely given us an absolutely beauty of a car.
The Lexus LFA was introduced as a concept car way back in 2005 and very few would have expected that they would be able to produce this beauty out of it. It shows that Lexus has put in everything in creating this gem of a sports car.
The Lexus LFA has a V10 engine of 4.8 liter and its 552 hp engine with 10 cylinders that enables it to move at 60 miles/hr on an average. It is made of carbon polymer, hence making it lightweight but by no means does it mean it isn’t strong. It is a very strong and powerful vehicle.
The production of this beauty starts in December this year in Japan and they have set a target to built 20 cars per month and will roll out 500 units. However, it isn’t very simple to buy this car. You will have to send an application to Lexus and they will let you know if you can actually purchase it. It is priced at $350,000.
