goodwood 2010 The cancellation of the British Motor Show this year has created a void and Goodwood therefore has confirmed that a new motor show called the Moving Motor Show would be held this year. The event would give the buyers of new cars an opportunity to use the Goodwood estate to test drive cars. The Motor Show will precede the Festival of Speed which was founded by Lord March in 1993. According to him the Moving Motor Show would be an integral part of the Festival.

The newly built pavilions would be the center of attraction of the road car displays. The Festival of Speed is the largest car show in the planet and would serve as a fitting platform for manufacturers to unveil their latest productions to the general public. The Festival has gained immense popularity in the recent years and an end to the SMMT show paved the way for this exotic show.

The Moving Motor Show would help in the direct sales of all the brands as it tends to attract affluent showgoers. The Moving Motor Show came about due to the abandonment of the illustrious bi-annual British Motor Show. It is also set to be attended by a large crowd who would have the opportunity to see the latest models of some of the renowned car makers of the industry.

The theme for this year’s Goodwood’s programme is Viva Veloce! Alfa Romeo is expected to put almost 50 cars on display at the show. The Festival of Speed would also mark the 60th year of F1 world championship this year.

Hyundai Santa Fe blue Hybrid Rocked The Paris Motor Show

The Hyundai Santa Fe blue Hybrid is a good contender in the eco-friendly market. I like the openness provided by the 3 panel glass roof, and the fuel efficiency. It will make a great family vehicle if it goes into production.
