bilde Kia is proud to introduce its new sporty 2010 Forte Koup at the New York Auto Show. As the name suggests, this new car is based on the Koup concept car that was first shown at the last year’s New York show. It features stretched back headlights that were seen with admiration in the Forte Sedan.

The new 2010 Forte Koup will arrive in the showrooms this summer and it will be available in EX and SX trim. The EX model of Forte Koup will feature a 2.0 liter four cylinder with 156hp and 144 lb ft of torque. It will also come wit a five-speed manual and sixteen-inch aluminum wheels.

On the other hand, the SX model of 2010 Forte Koup will be upgraded with a 2.4 liter four cylinder to provide 173 hp and 168 lb-ft torque. It will feature a six-speed manual and an optional five-speed automatic. The SX model will come with 17-inch wheels and stiffer suspension tuning along with sport cloth seats sporting red stitching and leather wrapped steering wheel and shift knob.

Both the models of 2010 Forte Koup will feature standard entertainment equipments like a six speaker audio system with steering wheel mounted audio controls, satellite radio capabilities, Bluetooth and USB and auxiliary input jacks.

The Hyundai Santa Fe blue Hybrid is a good contender in the eco-friendly market. I like the openness provided by the 3 panel glass roof, and the fuel efficiency. It will make a great family vehicle if it goes into production.
