BMW ActiveE Concept1 

The BMW group has presently taken up the initiative to manufacture vehicle that help to find out the various solutions to control the impact on the environment and the all new BMW ActivE Concept is one such car that comes under that initiative. The electric ActivE happens to be the second largest electric vehicle test program that would soon be conducted. The concept car gives you the true experience of an electrically powered BMW.

The car would highlight BMW’s continuing endeavor in the research and development of electro mobile vehicles. The car has been designed for daily use and the input received by the fleet customers after the field test would be used to further develop the car. Through this concept, BMW has managed to explore boxing solutions and components of new vehicles that would go a long way towards accomplishing the Megacity Vehicle.

The BMW ActivE has four full size seats and the capacity of the luggage compartment is 200 litres /7 cu ft. The motor located in the rear allows the vehicle to reach 100km/h from zero in less than 9 seconds. Users can activate the electric vacuum pump fitted in the brake system whenever they wish to and only the rear wheels of the car get affected by this brake. The concept is an attempt to make the experience of driving pleasurable without any emission of CO2 in the environment.
