Lotus, the sports car brand based in Hethel, Norfolk, England who has formed partnership with Mansory, the luxury car modification firm based in Brand, Germany is ramping up its partnership. Since Lotus has not seen many achievements under the current management, the company partnered Mansory to fulfill its goals. Lotus teamed up with Mansory to customize its cars and to field them under its brand name in numerous motor sport series.

The collaboration took place more than a year ago when Lotus asked for Mansory’s help to tart up its Evora with some extra carbon fiber bits. Evora was unveiled at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show as Evora GTE. Now the two companies are preparing to customize the entire range of Evora, along with Elise and Exige models.

The list includes customized body with trim and special finishes. Enough information was not available at this point. However, the collaborative effort is expected to unveil a new variant at the Paris Motor Show in September.

The concept of flying cars was till now was seen in movies only. But many people dreamt of having a flying car of their own, which could solve their purpose of flying it in the air as well as driving it on the road. The task of making this dream a reality is undertaken by a group of engineers in Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

This plane is estimated to cost over US $279,000, which has already been booked by many people. Carl Dietrich, the founder and chief executive officer of Terrafugia, who is an aeronautical engineer and pilot by profession, decided of the business potential of flying cars in the year 2004. He plans to sell 500 Transitions per year. The Transition will need a sport pilot’s license, which is not easy for everyone to have.

The Transition is made as a light sport aircraft and without the certification of the Federal Aviation Administration. So you will be able to fly it only during daylight and in clear skies.

The idea behind the course is to react to the performance of the tire and to each driver’s mood. As a result you can see g-forces in real time, as well as driver mood in the car and at race control.

AWESOMECROSS is the first test of its kind that shows a correlation between driver’s mood and tires’ performance technology. The experiment gives us a perfect opportunity to understand how different drivers react when pushing the COMP-2 tires to the limits.

Chevrolet
