The are many interesting features of the Mini Rocketman Concept that reminds us of the 1959 version of the Mini by Alec Issigonis. However, there are many other aspects that are unique like the length of Rocketman, which is more than the old Mini Minor by 37 cm. And the Rocketman Concept is 1,907 m wide and 1,398 m in tall than the old version.

The Mini Rocketman Concept is created on the lines of spaceframe carbon architecture.  It is designed in a way so as to keep less weight and to give an average of 3 liters of fuel per 100 km.

The Mini Rocketman Concept car created some amazing innovative technique in case of the doors of the car, which is interesting.

The Mini Rocketman has a carbon fiber part that spins on the front wheel arch. This part separates the body in parallel direction and also improves ease of access in confined spaces.

The new Quattro replaces the extended length and box kind style of the original Quattro with its sleek and compact size to give it an elegant look. The engineering of the Quattro concept has been done with a futuristic prospect. Features like reduced weight and length, aluminium chassis, carbon-fibre bonnet, body panels, low roofline, and the RS5’s platform are being used in the new concept.

Even the interior of the car is nicely done and the original rear seats have been replaced by with Sparco racing seats. Even the driver’s seat has been lowered and the car a red push button is being used to start the car engine.

The Quattro concept car is all set to hit the roads. But the important question is that whether Audi would make it into production. While we don’t have the answer yet, but the excitement that the Quattro concept has generated makes it evident that the car would get into production soon.

The Toyota Prius C Hybrid Concept was a surprise-concept at the Detroit Motor Show 2011 by the Japanese automaker. This model was developed on the same hybrid drive grounds in which the the Prius V minivan was designed. The minivan family model was the much anticipated model by everyone. In the current model, the Shelby Code Red concept car, the engine transmits as much as 1,000 horsepower of to its rear wheel. The creators expect the car to reach a speed of up to 200 miles per hour. In collaboration with Chatsworth, California based Nelson Racing Engines, Shelby American Workshop created a 5.4-liter engine supplied with a twin fuel system.

Amongst other features, the car has an electronic controller to decrease the turbo boost when the car runs at lower speed. This feature helps the car to avoid burning of the rubber near the 20-inch rear wheels.

Opel has given indications that a production model of the concept which has been named the GTC Paris is next in line. According to design chief of the brand, Mark Adams, this concept is best described as pure, bold and iconic in terms of appearance. He also said that this concept bears testimony to the fact that Opel has an emotional side as well.  Opel’s new design language is “German precision meeting sculptural artistry”.

According to Opel, the GTC Paris is 4460 mm long and has enough space for 5 people to fit in. Most legendary cars have been strained from the side and many of them can be easily sketched with the help of 2-3 sharp lines. The designers have taken special care in ensuring that there is maximum tension with limited number of lined for the GTC Paris. These lines are instrumental in creating the tension as well as the sculpted shape. They also serve as the platform to which the surfacing and highlights react.

The 3 door Astra is likely to retain the GTC as it goes for sale in 2011. This coupe follows the hatchback from Astra that went on sale in 2009 and a station wagon slated to debut in Paris.

Hyundai’s i-flow concept car made its debut in the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year
and it carries forward Hyundai’s new evocative form language called “fluidic sculpture”.
The elegant, flowing lines create a bionic and futuristic shape and at the same time
contribute immensely to the cars aerodynamics. The carbon emission of this car is very
low at 85g/km and the fuel consumption is very low too at 3l/100km. The diesel hybrid
power train from Hyundai also plays a major role in creating such fuel efficient vehicle.

The i-flow concept is 4.780mm long and has a wheelbase of 2.800mm and it is a pioneer
in the traditional European market. The design is almost dramatic, like a sculpture and
both the interior as well as the exterior is very elegantly done but without losing the
sportiness.

The name itself gives an idea of the car, which justifies the name to a tee. It has a flowing
design and is very stylish. Hyundai is expected to launch another car in similar lines next
year and it looks to give the i-flow some real competition.

It is no doubt a great car both in terms of looks as well as performance, but the USP of
this car is not the flowing design but the eco friendly engine. Hyundai has always been
committed towards the environment and has invested great deal in creating technology
that will minimize the carbon emission, thus protecting the environment. The i-flow with
its flowing design and environment friendly as well as fuel efficient features will surely
attract a good audience.
