The Los Angeles Auto Show kicked off on December 4th of this year at the Los Angeles Convention Center. This year’s event which will wind up on the 13th December, promises to be the platform for the launch of some fabulous cars. Speculations are that the Motor Show will have from fuel saving economy cars to some of the best recreated Muscle cars from America.
Let us have a look at some of the cars that are going to be unveiled at this year’s LA Auto Show. GM is all set to introduce the sportier Chevrolet Cruze for the year 2011. The car sports a fuel economy engine which has the Eco Tec 1.8 L four cylinders and promises to deliver close to 40 miles per gallon.
Another car, which would set the stage on fire, is the 2011 Ford Mustang. A delight for the Muscle car lovers, this car has a 3.7L V6 engine which is going to pump out 305 Horsepower and when paired with a six-speed automatic, it promises almost 30mpg on the highway.
The disappointing news though is Audi have decided to give the LA Motor Show a cold shoulder. The German automaker would showcase their new 2011 A8 in the Design Miami 2009 event. The A8 is an all aluminum sedan with technical upgrades and LED headlights. The car has touch screen multi media interface and has been designed for fuel economy and power. The 3L V6 TDI engine of the car promises to deliver 42mpg.
